Total Eclipse of The Square
On the afternoon of Monday, April 8, Tech Square community members gathered in the courtyard to witness a rare celestial event – a total solar eclipse crossed over the United States, Canada, and Mexico. To celebrate, we hosted a Total Eclipse of the Square viewing party.
Demystifying the Voluntary Carbon Markets
In 2022, Stripe, Alphabet, Meta, Shopify, and McKinsey collectively pledged $925 million to pre-purchase carbon removal credits. Their initiative, called Frontier, stimulated demand for technologies and services that facilitate the sequestration of carbon dioxide from the atmosphere, but the exact mechanism by which carbon credits are generated, sold, and purchased is still very opaque. The lack of clarity presents a barrier for many scientists, investors, entrepreneurs, and consumers who want to engage with the voluntary carbon markets.

Legal Qualms Addressed at Tech Tuesday Founder Happy Hour
Kabila, the co-founder matching app, Techstars portfolio company, and soon-to-be $5 million investment fund, hosted the inaugural ATL Tech Tuesday Founder Happy Hour at The Clubhouse in early March. The event, which is “for founders, by founders,” invited local community members to enjoy complimentary food, drinks, and most importantly, learn more about the topic at hand for the evening – startup legal issues.
Developers Discuss Passwordless Authentication at Tech Tuesday Event
