Fresh off the heels of the GVU Center’s two-day event celebrating their 30th anniversary, we wanted to capitalize on all of the activity happening in the Technology Square Research Building (TSRB) as of late. So we decided to pop-up in the lobby early one morning to teach our community about the science behind a perfect pour over, while they shared their goals for the upcoming year.

The first weekend in November, Blockchain at Georgia Tech hosted a three-day premier Web3 conference at The Clubhouse for attendees to explore, network, and compete for prizes!

As part of the GVU Center’s two-day event celebrating their 30th anniversary, GTGraffiti, the first graffiti-painting robot system that mimics the fluidity of human movement, set up their pully-operated spray painting machine in the Tech Square courtyard as an interactive art exhibit, encouraging community members to stop by and participate.

In late October, our newest student partner group, GTXR, teamed up with Meta recruiters and engineers to host an evening filled with a panel discussion, networking, and even exploring the Metaverse with virtual reality (VR) headsets at The Clubhouse.

Once again, we at Tech Square ATL (TSQATL) Social Club teamed up with Joulea, a software platform that uses drones to reduce energy costs and consumption in commercial buildings, to host a hands-on activation that took participants to new heights.

Long-time student partner of ours, Startup Exchange (SX), invited members and guests to hear from local entrepreneur, Sean Henry, on his startup story and founding Stord, a supply chain software company.

Saturday, November 5 will be game six of the World Series between the Phillies and Astros and even though our fearless Braves didn’t reign as NL East division champs, we’re still watching with bated breath.

On the last Thursday of September, TEDxGeorgiaTech hosted their first event of the semester, Open Mic Night, at Tech Square ATL (TSQATL) Social Club’s very own Clubhouse. Complete with a variety of acts and complimentary snacks, 14 performers took the stage to share their talents with the local community.

Student group Blockchain at Georgia Tech partnered with us here at Tech Square ATL (TSQATL) to invite members and the local community to gather at The Clubhouse and learn about all things crypto, with a focus on the transfer of funds across separate territories.

In recognition of the Day of the Programmer, we teamed up with one of our student partners, Code for Atlanta, to host an informative evening filled with a special presentation and conversations related to mitigating bias within machine learning (ML) and artificial intelligence (AI).

Saturday, September 10 marked the first home football game of the Georgia Institute of Technology’s (Georgia Tech) very own Yellow Jackets. As such an integral part of Midtown, we at Tech Square ATL (TSQATL) Social Club wanted to support our community and players by hosting a rooftop tailgate to cheer on the team!

On Tuesday, September 6, one of our proud student partner groups, Bits of Good (BoG), hosted a private launch day at The Clubhouse to welcome current members and recruit new Georgia Tech (GT) students as well.

For six hours on the last Saturday in August, AXR Edge hosted a FIFA '22 1v1me Tournament at Tech Square ATL (TSQATL) Social Club’s 9,000 square foot venue, The Clubhouse, for an afternoon of gaming, competition, prizes, and more.
