In a remarkable gathering at The Clubhouse, the stage was set for a captivating Fireside Chat, delving deep into the realm of robotics investment. Attended by illustrious groups such as Tech Square ATL (TSQATL), the Atlanta Robotics Meetup, Cosmos Robotics, and the Advanced Technology Development Center (ATDC), this event brought together the finest minds in the field to discuss the intricacies at hand.

As the end of the school semester starts to wind down, many are gearing up for summer – a time typically synonymous with relaxing, traveling, or disconnecting from the everyday grind. But being the overachievers we are at Tech Square ATL (TSQATL), we thought we’d do the opposite and start goal-setting proactively! So we took to the Tech Square courtyard to host a community cookout centered around connecting with others and sharing current ambitions for the upcoming season. 

With Cinco de Mayo happening on a Friday this year, we thought it was the perfect occasion to host a Brains In A Bar event, where select community members are invited to a secret location to discuss a specific topic with other like-minded individuals over a complimentary cocktail – but only after they correctly solve a puzzle!

We teamed up with local startup 404 DAO and student group Blockchain at Georgia Tech yet again to host an informative event focused on zero knowledge (ZK) cryptography, inviting attendees to discuss this cutting-edge technology and gain insight into its current and future applications.

On track with continuously honoring Earth Day each year, we once again hosted a themed event in celebration, this time aiming to raise awareness about effective recycling practices by featuring prominent speakers sharing their expertise and insights on the topic. Organized in collaboration with Accenture, a global consulting and professional services company, their involvement underscored the significance of recycling practices within the corporate sector and their commitment to sustainable business operations.

Focused on connecting student founders and industry experts through a celebration of innovation and creativity, we teamed up with our long-time student partner, Startup Exchange (SX), to host an evening centered around entrepreneurship, education, and enlightening experiences.

On a Friday afternoon in mid-April, one of our student partners, Startup Exchange, hosted a panel discussion for local community members regarding a topic that is top-of-mind for many new entrepreneurs.

This past week, Women in Technology (WIT) held a career fair at the TSQ ATL Clubhouse to empower and support women in securing fulfilling careers in STEAM fields, as part of their mission to make Georgia the state with the highest percentage of women in the STEAM workforce.

The second Wednesday in April boasted the first of a new recurring series Tech Square ATL (TSQATL) will be hosting. Tech Square Trivia Night invites members and the local community to join in on an evening filled with complimentary refreshments, cool prizes, and of course, a chance to put your brain to the test!

The work being done by one of our student partners, Bits of Good (BoG), is truly one of a kind, as it spans the entire product development cycle – from understanding the non-profit needs to creating a fully functioning software solution that is handed off to the client – and is entirely run by students. To celebrate their achievements from the past semester, BoG hosted their bi-annual Demo Day and invited organization members and the greater local community to join.

National Robotics Week (RoboWeek) aims to “inspire students in robotics and STEM-related fields and to share the excitement of robotics with audiences of all ages.” And since many of our researchers, scientists, professors, and students at the Technology Square Research Building (TSRB) are involved in the industry, we wanted to celebrate the occasion with some cookies – and questions. 

April marked not only the start of a new season, but also National Volunteer Month! And despite the influx of pollen – much to our dismay – we at Tech Square ATL (TSQATL) are always in full spring, ready to team up with a great organization and help save the lives of other local community members!

It’s no surprise blockchain technology, cryptocurrency, and non-fungible tokens (NFTS) are consistently hot topics here at Tech Square ATL (TSQATL). From discussing recent economic impacts to meeting entrepreneurs in the biz, several of our events are centered around this fascinating world. And with March 17 being St. Patrick’s Day, we thought it was a perfect time to celebrate the holiday while simultaneously uncovering how our community invests their “gold.”

As pollen counts were at an all-time high, a small group of professionals gathered over complimentary lunch at The Clubhouse to discuss how to keep carbon emissions low.

At Tech Square ATL (TSQATL), we’ll pretty much use any reason to host a themed event, but honoring Pi Day warranted no excuses necessary, as our community of innovators, entrepreneurs, technologists, and researchers are the perfect audience for such a celebration.
