Atlanta-Based Startup Founder Shares Success Story with Students

In order to introduce students from different verticals to the startup and entrepreneurship ecosystem, Startup Exchange (SX) partnered with several Georgia Tech (GT) groups to not only educate others, but also invite attendees to hear from a local success story.

In collaboration with Consult Your Community at Georgia Tech, Diversity in Business, Georgia Tech Society of Women in Business, GTPM, and Blockchain at GT, SX hosted an evening to remember at The Clubhouse in Tech Square

Attendees were also able to hear from Thibault Corens, a 2021 Forbes Next 1000 winner, and Founder of the company Presso, which has raised over $2.2 million to-date!

Corens, who studied at Purdue University, shared his entrepreneurial journey, including the early hurdles associated with achieving product-market fit. Today, Presso is an Atlanta-based, AI-robotics company harnessing the power of technology to create the first line of on-demand, low-carbon, express garment care machines.

One key to success? Developing solutions after observing issues within a particular industry.

Following the event, participants stayed around to network with others and gain further insight from all the groups in attendance that evening.
