Community Member Spotlight: Stuti Sagar

Meet Stuti Sagar, an Engineer II at Abbott. When she isn’t working on process development and yielding improvement projects in order to meet production of the CardioMEMS HF System (remote monitoring technology that detects changes in pulmonary artery pressure), she enjoys meditating (Dhyaan Yoga), cooking, painting, gardening, and spending time with family and friends. She also likes to build home decorations, especially while repurposing old materials!

As part of our Community Member Spotlight series, we caught up with Stuti about a favorite project she’s worked on, an interesting fact about her, one thing she’d tell others about Tech Square ATL Social Club, and her favorite place to eat in the neighborhood.

Q: What's a favorite project of yours and why?

A: I love all my professional projects because at the end of the day, what I work on helps reduce patient hospitalization. I’m involved in the production of the CardioMEMS HF System, which is a one-of-a-kind remote monitoring technology that detects changes in pulmonary artery pressure – an early indicator of worsening heart failure.

Q: What's something about you that's not on your resume?

A: I like to keep learning new languages. I can speak six languages so far (four fluently, still working on the fluency of the other two) and I do plan to keep learning more. One day I would love to be able to talk to everyone in their native language. Long way to go…

Q: What's one thing you would tell people about Tech Square ATL Social Club?

A:  I love the variety of events which are hosted here. I think there is something for everyone to enjoy. From mathematics to socializing to learning fun facts about doughnuts – it is always a nice little break from routine, which eventually increases productivity at work for me.

Q: What's your favorite restaurant/cafe in the Tech Square neighborhood?

A: I have liked Tin Drum.
