Bee Downtown

Bee Downtown is a startup that came to Atlanta from North Carolina after being accepted into the Engage accelerator program in Tech Square. 

Not your ordinary tech startup, Bee Downtown helps companies to become a part of rebuilding the vital bee population by placing multiple hives on the company's property (sometimes rooftops). The program includes maintenance of the hive by a professional beekeeper, regular quantified corporate social responsibility reports, and ways to meaningful engage employees with leadership and personal development workshops. 

Founder Leigh-Kathryn Bonner started the company during her junior year in college with two rooftop beehives.
