Spotlight: Athena Lab Wireless Sensors

Jimmy Hester gives us the inside scoop on ATHENA Lab. He explains that their project is, "a convergence between the internet of things and 5G networks". They are building wireless directional sensors which are fueled by a solar cell and have a 30 meter reading range. These sensors are to be used to detect chemical attacks in the environment, such as the public's water supply. Listen to learn how these sensors have been modified to improve security.
