Stride Labs Redefines Orthotic Care with AI-Driven Tech

Stride Labs brings a fresh approach to designing and producing orthotic insoles. Founded on integrating technology with ergonomic design, Stride Labs aims to provide comfort and support for individuals with various foot conditions.

Orthotic insoles, also known as orthotics or foot orthoses, are custom-made shoe inserts designed to support and improve the function of feet. The insoles are often prescribed to address a range of orthopedic lower limb conditions, including:

·         Plantar Fasciitis

·         Flat Feet

·         High Arches

·         Bunions and Hammertoes

·         Diabetic Foot Conditions

Orthotic insoles can be made from various materials, including foam, gel, and rigid plastics, each tailored to meet specific needs and preferences. Custom orthotics are typically created based on a detailed analysis of an individual’s foot structure and biomechanics, often involving 3D scanning or molding.

Stride Labs' Approach

Stride Labs differentiates itself by leveraging artificial intelligence to fully automate orthotic design from 3D scan to insole using proprietary AI models. The signature software, named Pediform, is the end-to-end automation software for the entire engineering process. Pediform is also able to integrate automation technology with existing software easily.

From Student to Fellow to Founder

Aadhav Sundar, the Founder and CEO of Stride Labs, began his journey by taking his idea for Stride Labs to the Startup Exchange and Create-X programs at Georgia Tech and Tech Square. Both organizations have backed Stride Labs with funding. Startup Exchange even allowed Sundar and his team to meet and network with some of the most successful founders in the country, including Thiel Fellows and YC Founders. “With Startup Exchange being based in Tech Square, most events were at the TSQ Clubhouse or Coda. I met many of my employees and investors simply by being present at demo days, pitch conferences, and networking events,” Aadhav remarked.

As I travel and present Stride Labs to more people, I want to emphasize our commitment to company and team growth. The future of Stride Labs lies in developing an end-to-end AI-automated engineering software, not just for lower limb conditions, but for all types of medical braces.
