The Top Mobile Apps Used By TSQATL Members

Every week at The Clubhouse, we pose a question on our big conversation board about what’s been on the radar for our members lately. This is designed to not only spark conversations and encourage collaboration, but to also allow us to better know our community members in a fun and unique way. Last week, we were curious about the five mobile apps they use daily.

We found, from our community members that participated, the majority (38%) mentioned social media platforms, including Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, and Facebook. The next most popular responses (26%) were around music streaming apps, such as Spotify, Apple Music, and YouTube.

With this information, we wanted to get a deeper insight into mobile apps in general. For instance, did you know that there are over 4.4 million apps available in the Apple App store and 2.9 million in the Google Play store? Additionally, on average, 130,000 new apps are released every month between both Apple and Android platforms. And an astonishing 204 billion apps were downloaded in 2019 alone!

Clearly, our mobile devices are a huge part of our daily lives – and not just for the more traditional (or perhaps, antiquated) use of phones – like calling and texting – but for the additional technology and functions our phones provide us.

DID YOU KNOW?

Music apps are used more daily than any other category, like shopping, for example.
