Tech Square: The Hub of Innovation Centers

Have you ever wondered why Tech Square – and Atlanta, in general – is the home of so many innovation centers, corporate headquarters, and large companies?

With over 13,000 technology companies in Atlanta, a large sum of them are located right here in the Tech Square neighborhood or around the Midtown area. In fact, Atlanta is currently ranked as the number one city for young entrepreneurs and startups.

According to INC, “Growing companies are attracted to Atlanta for the strong economic climate and the strong array of industries ranging from life sciences and financial technology to health care and manufacturing.”

There are currently 35 innovation centers in the city of Atlanta and more than half – 18 specifically – are located in our very own Tech Square neighborhood.

Companies choose Midtown because of the proximity to Tech Square, easy access to Georgia Tech students, and the opportunity to collaborate with other businesses in the area.
