Innovations In The Wellness Industry, What Awaits Us?

With everything going on in the world this year, it’s apparent health is at the forefront of all our minds right now. But have you contemplated what wellness innovations await us in the future? Well, wonder no further! The Global Wellness Summit is an annual gathering of international leaders in the $4.5 trillion global wellness economy, in which experts, leaders, and visionaries from the industry come together to solve shared problems.

Composed of a variety of interactive sessions, the Summit’s agenda includes panel-led discussions, general sessions, small group breakout groups, and hosted dining conversations from November 8 - 11.

As an international organization that brings together leaders and visionaries to positively impact and shape the future of the global wellness industry, their mission is to establish a forum for dialogue among industry leaders, create community by fostering friendly relationships, inspire a spirit of collaboration, encourage innovation, and cultivate leaders for tomorrow.

Every year, the Global Wellness Summit identifies new trends that will have a meaningful impact on the wellness industry. It is the only wellness forecast that draws from the insights of 600+ executives. This year’s trends include, but are not limited to, mental wellness and technology, sleep and true circadian health, fertility boom, and energy medicine.

Sleep has proven to be a large area of focus, or better yet, products to help get better sleep.  This is especially critical, as sleep is an important part of our day. In fact, the market for sleep aids and technologies is expected to reach $84.9 billion by 2021.

This year’s Summit is focusing on Resetting the World with Wellness, with the mission to lead and unite the industry and share with the world the science and evidence that underscores the importance of wellness, prevention, and resilience.

Part of the Summit includes their student competition, Shark Tank of Wellness. There, students from around the world are able to submit their own innovative product that will hopefully help provide solutions in the wellness industry. Out of the submissions, there were three finalists that were invited to present in-person at the Summit. And are so proud to announce that one of the finalists is a member of the Tech Square ATL (TSQATL) Social Club community – our very own, Krysta Silva!
