Community Member Spotlight: Mark Wasiele
Meet Mark Wasiele, Tech Square Investor and Operator for TEQ Charging, which started through Tech Square’s very own CREATE-X. As part of our Community Member Spotlight series, we sat down with Mark during our Tesla Battery Day Fireside Chat last month to learn more about TEQ Charging and what they are working on.
Involved in tech since the beginning of his career, Mark started as a Sales Manager at Prime Computers, which was a Massachusetts-based producer of minicomputers in the 1970s through the 1990s.
His experience of over 30+ years has helped shape the technology industry. And today, as both an investor and mentor, Mark helps local startups grow. Some of which are Cyberlaunch and FireHUD.
Now, as an Investor, Operator and Advisor of TEQ Charging, Mark is helping to make charging electric cars easier, smarter, and cost-efficient. In fact, TEQ Charging is the first power strip for electric vehicles, with the use of plug-in stations throughout a parking lot/deck they ensure that every EV driver gets a spot when they need it and by connecting each station in a network, they ensure that the installation cost is significantly reduced.
Mark currently holds a place on nine board and advisor roles, a few of them being LinkSquares, C3 Security Inc., and Real Factor.io.
