Scheller and Partners Focus on Inclusion

This summer, Scheller College of Business partnered with Management Leadership for Tomorrow (MLT), and invited 300 prospective MBA students from the program for a pre-MBA prep seminar.  Scheller used its close relationships with many local corporations, including Coca-Cola, AT&T, Delta Air Lines, and Southern Company, to help develop an inclusive culture.

MLT is a nonprofit that aims to transform the careers of Black, Hispanic, and Native American people. They offer many programs from college career prep, MBA prep, and executive level programs.

“We believe diversity and inclusion are cornerstones in our school’s collaborative and vibrant community. When people with varied backgrounds combine their experiences and efforts to benefit the whole — that is the point where learning and innovation happens,”  said Maryam Alavi, Scheller College Dean.

A video welcoming the prospective MBA students to Atlanta was produced and shown at the seminar that focuses on the importance of diversity and inclusion for Scheller and its corporate partners. Tune in here:
