Takorea is close to Juniper and 6th street, about an 8 minute walk from Tech Square.  It's a Korean Mexican fusion restaurant, mixing some flavors you probably haven't tried before.

For this review Tech Square ATL invited Meltse Henderson from the community to give her opinions below.

Meltse lives in the midtown area and loves the city. Working remotely in Tech Square as Sr. Director of Products for NGA Human Resources, she manages development teams focused on the UX/UI of NGA's software.  When she's not working, she's competing with friends on her fitbit, or cycling around on her bicycle.

Walking in, there is a small bar and both indoor and outdoor seating. We were seated right away outside even though it seemed busy (the inside was full). In the middle of the Atlanta summer, it was pretty hot out, but Takorea has some big fans blowing in order to cool everyone off.

We started off with a few tacos. The KFC taco is a must try for first timers. It's not just boring fried chicken, the other toppings in it taste very fresh and blends well, which goes the same for the shrimp taco.

An extra side of their popular sesame fries was great.  They have this sweet and saucy taste to them, while being nice and crunchy.

We also got the Korean Fried Rice with chicken added. Definitely get the chicken with this dish as it evens out the sauteed vegetables and fried eggs.  This dish is pretty large, so you either come hungry, or be prepared to throw in the towel with your skillet still completely full of rice.

Overall, Takorea is a great lunch spot and an easy walk from Tech Square.  We would will be frequenting this spot in the future.
